For our Commodity Trading desk in Amsterdam we are looking for a (junior) trader. The desk is part of ING Financial Markets and concentrates at trading commodity derivatives for both internal and external clients. Our main clients are corporates with hedging needs in the commodity space, but we also provide commodity related investment solutions for institutional investors and retail-aggregators. This job-offer is a perfect start of a career in Investment Banking.


The Commodity Trading desk experienced significant growth in both product mandate and profitability over the last few years and is therefore looking to strengthen the team with a new hire. Besides trading, product development and structuring is an important part of the activities of the desk.


The Commodity Trading desk has traders in Amsterdam, New York and Singapore, with Amsterdam as the main trading center and holds the world-wide mandate for trading commodity derivatives in ING Bank. This, and the international presence of ING Financial Markets, gives many opportunities for an international career within ING.


Your profile
We are looking for financial top talent. We are expecting from you excellent analytical skills, proven interest in financial markets in general and commodity markets in particular. You work fast and accurate and you have the capability to deal with stressful situations. We are looking for a true team player and good communicator. You hold a Masters degree in Financial Economics, Mathematics or similar, and have 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience.
