Purpose of the function
Working within the Business Clients Team, you are a key player in all origination and cross-selling and deep-selling activities.

Job description
Research & Analysis
- Performs analyses on clients, sector research and peer analyses (in an international environment);
- Assists in identifying of critical business issues and potential new business opportunities;
- Prepares marketing pitches, proposals and, together with the Relationship Manager and the respective product unit, term-sheets;
- Is responsible for collecting client and sector information and analysing this information for solution selling process.

Origination
- Assists in managing client service & solution teams. Assists in the origination for products from all ING Business Lines. Prepares briefing memos for client meetings;
- Provides commercial input for Credit Applications, Modifications and Reviews and Relationship Manager;
- Liaises with product specialists and ING offices.

Commercial Client Management
- Assists in Compliance related administrative tasks;
- Accompanies the Relationship Manager in client meetings;
- Monitors information- and news services and informs the Relationship Manager about client and sector developments;
- Keeps various systems up-to-date, particularly Grid and the CRM system (IRIS);
- Prepares annual Client Relationship Plans in close cooperation with the Relationship Manager, Product Specialists and international ING offices;
- Monitors Client Profitability and the realisation of team objectives;
- Arranges publications of closed transactions.

Who we are looking for?
- You preferably have an academic degree;
- Relevant general banking experience would be advantageous, but not requirerd;
- Ability to work independently to strict deadlines is important - as is the ability to act as a member of a small cohesive team;
- Good oral and written skills, in English and Dutch, are essential;
- A mature and confident approach is required.

Salary & Benefits
This role is for 36/40 hours per week and is classified in job grade 8 or 9
